tasting notes

A beautifully layered liqueur style of wine made from a small solera system we started in 1991. The palate combines rich flavours of creamy nuts with lovely soft overtones of well balanced oak.

Bottle Capacity - 375 mL. AWARDS: Bronze 2009 Cowra Wine Show Class 91.

winemaking

Fruit was left on the vine to achieve optimum ripeness and intensity. The wine was fermented for a short period in stainless steel then fortified with spirit. Maturation took place in old oak for four years before the wine was blended with other aged wine from the Solera system which was started in 1991.

This wine is from the spectacular 'Inglewood' Vineyard located in the upper reaches of the Hunter Valley. The name 'Two Rivers' was drawn from the Vineyards unique position nestled on the banks of the Hunter River near its confluence with the Goulburn.
